Dr. Alan Upchurch
completed his doctorate at the University of
Houston in 1986. His areas of professional
specialty include management of ocular
disease, contact lenses, refractive surgery
consultation, and low vision rehabilitation.
Dr. Upchurch is also certified by the Texas
Optometry Board to diagnose and treat
glaucoma.

Dr. Humera Khan has
returned to practice at Alpha Optical after
relocating her private practice from Frisco,
and we are excited to have her back with us!
Dr. Khan received her bachelor of science in
English Literature from the University of
Illinois and subsequently pursued a career
in optometry, completing internships at
Amarillo VA Medical Center and the Sidney
Hillman Health Center in 2001.

Kahn received her doctorate in Optometry
from Illinois College of Optometry in 2001.
Dr. Khan is certified to practice as a
therapeutic optometrist in the state of
Texas, and enjoys general optometry and
ocular disease management. |
